Sunday is the only day I dare use the local trains in Mumbai. Packed like sardines, Mumbai's life line is used by millions of people every week to commute to office and back. Here are a couple of snapshots -

From someone who's about to leave Mumbai a.k.a Bombay(which it always has been for me, despite Shiv Sena's attempts to Mumbai-ise the city!), your photographs of Gateway of India, the Taj, Churchgate station and the train commuter had me experiencing nostalgia even before I'm truly gone...nothing like our trains is there? You HAVE to try the Virar locals once to get the real taste of things!;)
Ooops..that last comment was by me - I keep forgetting that this new commenting system has this ridiculous anonymous option!

The last pic was pretty nifty. I'm sure the gentleman in the pic wasn't aware of the message he was sending to the hundreds of Mumbaikars, not that they had time to notice it neway.
